Less than 30 minutes from Loudon County, Knoxville is home to the University of Tennessee Volunteers, as well as the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Knoxville Museum of Art celebrates the art and artists of East Tennessee while the American Museum of Science and Energy in Oak Ridge where science and history come alive is another great stop, as is the Museum of Appalachia in Clinton.

Other great places to visit include the Knoxville Zoo, the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and the Knoxville Symphony is amazing.
